The original artist on GLOOM COOKIE, a character designer on a par with Jill Thompson, returns for a series featuring young, well-meaning Courtney, her clueless, superficial and dismissive parents, her snobbish classmates and her mysterious uncle increasingly absent on mystical errands.

The penlines are exquisite, the lessons sometimes harsh, and if as many people read comics as books, the guy might be almost as rich as J. K. Rowling. He certainly deserves to be.
