Courtney Crumrin vol 2: Courtney Crumrin & The Coven of Mystics back

Ted's my favourite creator to come out of the Tweeny Goth/Cute Dead Things phenomenon which paid our bills in the early part of the last decade. His line and character design matured beautifully during his run on GLOOM COOKIE, and although he lost some of his audience when he moved onto COURTNEY CRUMRIN he gained so many more followers for being free of it. Yet there's still plenty of the gothic here, and a lot more humanity.

Jill Thompson fans will not be disappointed. Courtney has to endure a strange new environment at her grandfather's spooky mansion, callousness from her parents, and snobbery from her new school mates. In this book she moves further into the shadows of the occult.
