Many have been the interpretations, adaptations and ingenious new ways of looking through Lewis Carroll's glass, and this one does so darkly indeed. Shame that the author has failed to put away his childish things, though, because this is little more than a two-dimensional tits'n'ass comic posing as some sort of insight into the fragile human psyche.

Alice is married to an adulterer who enjoys domination, her son is a psychotic who dreams of violence. She herself is a self-harmer on medication, whilst her daughter is a hottie who does some doobage and ends up being attacked by a mallet-wielding Carpenter, drugged, stripped and drooled over by a gnarled Mad Hatter, then splattered with gore down by the card-clipped topiary.

Some books are so poor they're offensive. But they sell very well, so please don't let that stop you.
