"After the Home Economics mock wedding we were asked to pick a situation card. They had different problems that a marriage might face, and we had to figure how to pay for these expenses."
"Hmmm, a sudden medical emergency."
"Like what? An anal fissure? Ugh! Marriage blows. I'm just going to whore around."

More drama in the '80s high school life of Tammy Pierce as recorded in her own imitable style in her diary. Tammy's life seems to consist of receiving crank calls, going to drunken parties, embarrassing herself with truly woeful break dancing, making bad fashion choices, cruising round the neighbourhood in vehicles that are forever running out of petrol, and falling out continuously with her immensely irritating younger brother Eric. Not to mention putting up with her 'friends' Kim and Erick...

"Have you told your parents you have ass warts?"
"NO!"
"So you admit you have ass warts? You just haven't told your parents."
"NO! I don't have any warts."
"Wait! I get it! You told your parents you have ass warts. But... you... don't."
"YES! I mean... yes I don't... wait... but no I didn't tell..."
"TOO LATE!! You said yes."
"HA HA HA!!!"

However obsessing over boys like Wayne "hey baby, they call me coffee because I grind so fine" Cummings, John 'The Narc' Johnson and 'Thespian New-Waver' dreamboat and Morrissey obsessive Ken Edward Olsen take up the majority of Tammy's time. Will she ever get that elusive first kiss she's looking for? Well, she does eventually but it's not exactly what she was expecting.

Equally as hilarious and excruciatingly funny as the first volume, if not even more so, you can't help wincing for poor old Tammy a little bit, and hoping something nice might actually happen to her. It doesn't.
