The answer is simple: as a small, independently owned store we can't afford to slash and burn the RRP like large high street chains or on-line mega giants. But ask yourself the question: do you get the sheer breadth of choice including self-published and hand made comics, or the loving personal service, encyclopaedic comics knowledge and personally tailored recommendations from those other retailers?

We sincerely appreciate the fact you're even thinking about supporting an independent retailer by browsing our site. So what we do when we decide to clear some old editions when newer versions have come out, or manage to get our hands on some more affordable stock of quality items, is put those books on at crazy prices on a first come, first served basis.
