Good Neighbours vol 2: Kith h/c back

Holly Black & Ted Naifeh

Page 45 Review by Tom

Things take a turn for the worse for Rue as her newfound Faerie family begin to annex her home town from the outside world, and they're using her friends as fence posts. But the humans in her life are no better, as her boyfriend becomes dependent on the seductive bite of the water nymphs. Maybe a world without mortal constraints wouldn't be so bad?

Ted's art is gorgeous once again, but you kind of wish Holly would write her characters with a bit more depth. COURTNEY CRUMRIN would be slapping Rue hard for sticking by any of her reprobate associates, Faerie or Human.
