A young girl at school has a kind, thoughtful boyfriend so respectful of her that he's not even sure he should ask for a kiss. She falls pregnant but swears she's never had sex. Against all imaginable odds, her boyfriend believes her unquestioningly. At which point, he became my favourite young man in the whole of comicbook fiction.

She's telling the truth.

Then we fastforward, and I do believe that you will recognise some of these... institutions.

Brilliant.
