Blade is enjoying his youth to the fullest and completely failing to shake his reputation as a super being. After mistakenly believing that kissing is a standard greeting, Blade goes around smooching everyone, to his classmates' horror. Then Earnest and the others get it in their head that Blade isn't very good at magic and try to help him by instigating a super-being hunt where only magic combat is allowed.
