"IT'S COMING OUT OF MY BUM!!"'

Aaaaaargh! Unhinged, uninsurable, and unleashed upon Nottingham with NO PANTS AT ALL: Jamie Smart's LOOSHKIN vol 3 is shooting off our shelves NOW.

The role of any decent pull quote is to evoke the distilled essence of what lies within. Sometimes it's possible to peel back the complex layers of a carefully crafted collection of comics and also strike at its sophisticated thematic core. So let's hear that again.

"IT'S COMING OUT OF MY BUM!!"

Mission accomplished.
Torn from the pages of the PHOENIX COMIC WEEKLY, Jamie Smart’s LOOSHKIN stars a bright blue cat terrorizing its family household, their neighbours, their visiting relatives and any odd-ball expert foolish enough to step through their doors.

Utterly oblivious and determinedly in denial, Looshkin doesn't just refuse to take responsibility for his actions and their consequences, he refuses to acknowledge that his actions have any consequences that can't be considered tip-top results Looshkin cannot help himself and will not be stopped. He is loud, irrepressible and insatiable. He’s the ultimate child running wild, craving action, adventure and brand-new experiences – preferably dangerous.

The creator of BUNNY VS MONKEY knows exactly what makes kids gurgle with over-excitable, uncontainable, mad-screaming glee and that's this: fart jokes, toilet references, appalling misbehaviour, unbridled chaos and the most massive collateral damage while raging round a home shouting stupid strings of silly-sounding syllables!

It's also very, very clever so I wrote forty-twelve additional paragraphs for our review of volume one, THE MADDEST CAT IN THE WORLD, we made volume two, OOF! RIGHT IN THE PUDDINGS! Page 45 Comicbook Of The Month for ADULTS, the whole demented series is among the 52 titles on the Comics Laureate Recommended Reading List for EVERYONE, and features prominently in my subsequent Comics Laureate Recommended List For Schools & Libraries. As if schools aren't chaotic enough.

You'll find BOTH lists AND Page 45 Comicbook Of The Month on our website's front page - AND on our Linktree, so seldom visited that even the local dogs have stopped cocking their leg at it.

Parental Units: DO take out a subscription to Britain's PHOENIX COMIC WEEKLY for your sprogs, and drag them in here (fingers wiped and securely tethered, please) to catch up on its collected editions like LOOSHKIN, BUNNY VS MONKEY, STAR CAT, MEGA ROBO BROS, CORPSE TALK and we'll show you DOG MAN, BATPIG, PUNYCORN, MONSTER ON THE HILL and more (more, MORE)!

P.S. The penultimate edition of Neill Cameron's MEGA ROBO BROS (NEMESIS) is out on May 2nd 2024, I've read it, and holy heckers-like. You have been warned.
