I don't want to lump this in with those insipid "How To" books, this is so much more than that. This is more like an anthology of the best zine and mini-comic creators, and remaining true to their chosen outlets ethic, this is far more informative, vibrant and fun than your average anthology or "How To" book. The likes of John Porcellino, Souther Salazar, Raina Lee, Jordan Crane and loads of other Zinesters give tips on off-set printing, materials, copy-shop lingo, interviewing and format styles. These guidelines are told in the particular style of whomever tells them, interspersed with wicked little anecdotes about discovering and creating these pure little visions. They're just as heartfelt and personable as the creators' personal work.

This is an inexhaustible reference for any art and design students, a learning tool for any adventurous Teacher or just a damn good read for the crafty.
